On Saturday, May 2, FCPC partnered with Operation Backyard to build a desperately needed accessibility ramp for a man who recently had a leg amputated. His son and granddaughter helped with the project. FCPC provided 14 volunteers who worked hard to build the ramp. Another church member provided lunch for the crew. After watching us through a window, the ramp recipient came out to thank us for helping improve his mobility. Eight closeknit family members live in 3 structures on the property. The family is extremely grateful for our help. That evening, the ramp enabled him to join his family for an outdoor Bible study around their firepit. A suggestion was made that night that they should move their chairs to the ramp for their next Bible study.
