With gratitude and hope, we are pleased to share that the Presbytery of East
Tennessee’s Committee on Ministry has approved our Ministry Discernment Profile.
This is the decisive step to being able to publicize our church information to potential
pastors and begin the discernment process with candidates.

Next, we will meet with the Presbytery’s General Presbyter, Wendy Neff, and our
Committee on Ministry liaison, Barry Simmons, on December 18 to receive additional
directions for the search process.

Please continue to keep our church and the PNC team in your prayers, specifically for
this discernment process in examining potential pastors. We know God is preparing our
next pastor for this important role with our church, and we continue to pray for His
guidance through every step of this process. We appreciate your help and participation
in our surveys and your feedback. Your input assisted us to create our ministry form
and will continue to guide us as we begin interviewing candidates. Thank you for your
