2026 Stewardship Campaign
“Many Gifts, One Body”
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. – 1 Cor. 12
Greetings, church family!
This letter is coming to you at the kick-off of our Stewardship Campaign for 2026. As we embark on a new era in service to the congregants of Fountain City Presbyterian Church and the members of the Fountain City community, we find ourselves at a time of transition and one of incredible opportunity. Even though we are transitioning to a new full-time pastor, the strengths and gifts of our congregation remain steady and crucial. In that spirit, the theme for this year’s campaign is Many Gifts, One Body. We feel that this theme captures the diversity of gifts and talents within our congregation while acknowledging our unifed purpose in Christ.
The past two years have been ones of transition. We are thankful for the work of Carl and Denise as they have helped prepare the way for Susan and Gregory. Though we have waited patiently for the coming transition to our next permanent pastor, we have maintained our regular programming and created new offerrings for worship, fellowship, and mission. This creativity has strengthened our church for the present and future. 2026 offers us a chance to build on this momentum, but we cannot do it without your support in terms of time, talent, and finances.
Coupled with this letter is a fianancial commitment card for 2026. Please complete and return it to the church by either placing it in an offering plate, returning to the church office, or completing the online form avaialbe thorugh the QR code on the card by November 2. Providing an estimate-of-giving is essential for planning the coming year in the life of our church. One difference for this coming year is that we ask you to include the entirety of your giving to the church in your estimate – incluing what you may have previously donated to designated funds, e.g. Belize, choir scholarship, Grandma’s Pajamas, etc. Please prayerfully consider your contribution to FCPC, knowing that it will not only help fund the creative vision of the future, but also support the congregational and pastoral care, worship services, and missions we have come to know and love as part of Fountain City Presbyterain Church.
Should you need to revise your estimate-of-giving during 2026, you can do so at any time by contacting Ashton Hicks, our office administrator. With your continued support, we believe 2026 could be a banner year for Fountain City Presbyterian, with renewed energy, vibrant missions, and the enthusiasm to put our many gifts and unified boyd to work in our community!
Together, we are the hands and feet of Christ.
Sincerely,
The Stewardship Team
