Our Mission

Our mission is to provide the highest quality childcare in a loving, supportive Christian environment for children six weeks of age through pre-K. The Davis Center and its staff achieve this by providing facilities and programming that nurture each child’s physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development. Our class sizes ensure each child has a place to grow, learn and experience new things using Christian principles and teachings.

Our Program

The Davis Center offers a full-time, year round program operating from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We are a Christian based program, offering weekly Chapel services with Pastor Andy, Bible lessons, and the observance of Christian Holidays. We are closed for the following Holidays: Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the following Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas, & New Year’s Day.

Our Curriculum

We use the Tennessee Early Learning Standards to plan developmentally appropriate lesson plans for each classroom. Each classroom has a daily schedule and routine that allows for consistency and individualized instruction, with a focus on social and emotional learning, early literacy, large and gross motor skills and more.
