Join us on Wednesdays beginning March 20th for dinner from 6 to 6:45 and a lesson for all ages from 6:45-7:45. Linda Sullivan will facilitate the women’s lesson and Carl Grosse will facilitate the men’s. There will also be curriculum for our youth and children.

FCPC members have a wonderful opportunity to be present in the community by helping Fountain City Elementary School with their Spring Carnival on April 19, 2024. The PTO President has asked for volunteers to man the inflatables this year. There are 6 inflatables that need 1-2 people at each for a two-hour duration (you can work longer). They also need two floaters to assist with restroom breaks if needed. You will see a link below that will take you to the sign-up page. Please text me should you have any trouble.  

New to our church? This is a great way to meet the folks at our neighboring school that we support on a regular basis. Are you a High Schooler who needs volunteer hours? I can hook you up! Youth Group? Jack and Carolyn: I bet the youth would love to be involved! Nothing else to do on a Friday night? Come hang out and help our sweet neighbors with their carnival.

Mission Opportunity: Give Hope to Family Promose Children and Parents

Family Promise of Knoxville partners with local congregations to help families who suffer the loss of housing due to unexpected events like healthcare expenses, rent increases, elimination of a job, or other difficult life circumstances. The parents are motivated to get their children back into a home thanks to encouragement from volunteers and case management help from Family Promise staff. From April 28 to May 5, FCPC’s third floor rooms will become comfortable and safe places where 4 families will eat, play, do homework, relax, and sleep. Thanks to the volunteer sprit in our congregation, many of the ways to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus have been filled. You can still sign up.
